The 24/7 Fastlane server is now up! The server is a 32 slot server located out of New York. We are going to give fastlane a shot at getting the server popular. If the server does not draw people in then we will change it to another map. We will just see how it goes for the next few weeks. Also the engineer class is restricted to 3 on both teams. Stats will be hooked up to the server in 1 - 2 days. Lets get this server rollin.

We have purchased a new L4D2 server. We were getting sick of connecting to crappy servers and having a horrible pings, so phoxx bought us a nice server out of chicago. This will be used for BG members only. More info on how to connect to the server will be provided in the BG Members only forum.

We have went ahead and changed the HLstatsX maximum points gained from 25 points to 15 points on all servers. We have had a lot of people complaining about this, so hopefully this will help. We will be testing this setting for the next week to see if we like it better.

Here at the battlegrounds we try our best to be self funded. And Soup does a very good job of doing that. We do not want any advertisements or any affiliate programs to mess with. We rarely try to push for donations upon the community and try not to, but this time we are asking for some help. We have a huge bill coming for the month of December. It is going to be around $400. We opted to pay our 2fort server every 6 months and its coming next month and that's why the bill is going to be so high. As of lately there have not been many donations at all. It is hard for us to continue to expand without "some" help from the community. We'd like to say that if you appreciate not only what we do for this community, but what this community stands for, what our mods and admins do, and heck, what our community members do, please donate to the site. So everyone please, if you can donate, by all means donate. Any amount helps! You can donate now and all money collected will be used for the month of December.
